Oh, my poor neglected blog!

I've sat down so many times to write something fabulous and just come up dry. So this will be a boring post, just to update on my life. Things have gone well since my conversation with my parents. I have found it is more difficult to come up with things to talk about - I never realized how much churchy stuff we did before. We are going over to their house next weekend to have dinner, and apparently there will be some couples from church there. I am actually happy for the opportunity to sit down and have a nice social event with these people, so that they can see once and for all that my husband and I are not, in fact, possessed by some evil spirit.

Speaking of that, I got a phone call from another guy I used to attend church with - he called me follow up on some work I had done for him a few months ago. We had a very pleasant conversation and chit-chatted for quite a bit. At the end of the conversation, he said, "Wow, it was really nice to talk with you." I told him he could still talk to me - I wasn't off sacrificing chickens in the backyard or anything. He started cracking up at that.
